Landing late at Incheon? Start with your hotel’s nearest stop, then check the next departure from your arrival terminal. A bus with “Seoul” on the destination board may still leave you a long way from your bed.
Official information checked on 15 September 2026. Times below are in Korea Standard Time. Recheck the linked timetable before travelling.

Which night bus gets you closest?
These are the four Seoul routes on the airport’s current night-bus guide. The adult fares below apply to the listed Seoul destinations; Songjeong has a separate fare.
| Route | Useful stops | Adult fare |
|---|---|---|
| N6000 | Gangnam Express Bus Terminal | ₩17,000 |
| N6002 | Hongdae, Four Seasons Hotel, Dongdaemun, Cheongnyangni | ₩17,000 |
| N6701 | Mapo, Seoul Station, Euljiro Entrance, DDP | ₩18,000 |
| N6703 | COEX, Jamsil Lotte World, Gangbyeon, Gwangnaru area | ₩18,000 |

For a hotel around Myeongdong, compare its actual entrance with the N6701 stop at Euljiro Entrance. For Hongdae, start with N6002. These are planning suggestions, not promises of a doorstep drop-off. Open the final walking route with your luggage in mind before buying a ticket.
Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 have different departure times
A useful example is N6701, which serves Seoul Station and the Euljiro area:
| Airport departure | Published times |
|---|---|
| Terminal 1 | 23:50, 00:40, 01:40, 03:45, 04:40 |
| Terminal 2 | 23:30, 00:20, 01:20, 03:25, 04:20 |
Check the T1 timetable or T2 timetable for your terminal. T1’s guide places boarding on 1F; T2’s guide places it on B1. Confirm the exact bay on the ticket and departure displays.
Notice the gap after 01:40 at T1. If you miss that N6701 departure, the next listed one is 03:45: a wait of two hours and five minutes. That is why “night buses run” is not enough to plan a late arrival.
Do not use the aircraft’s landing time as your bus boarding time. Leave room for getting off the plane, immigration, baggage collection and finding the stop. There is no single reliable allowance for every flight. Once you reach the public arrivals area, work from the time you actually have.
Buy a ticket, then check the last part of the journey
The airport guide lists ticket booths and machines for the night buses, with Tmoney GO also listed for N6701 and N6703. Treat a bus ticket and a stored-value transport card as different things; follow the purchase method shown for your service.
Before boarding, save your hotel name and street address in Korean, the stop name, and a screenshot of the walk. If the hotel is a long walk away, compare the bus fare plus the final taxi leg with taking a taxi from the airport. For two adults on N6701, the bus portion alone is ₩36,000; that simple calculation is a better starting point than comparing one bus ticket with an entire taxi.
When a taxi makes more sense
A long wait, several suitcases or a hotel far from the bus stop can make a direct taxi worth considering. Ask for the expected total to your exact address and whether tolls or other charges are included.
For a standard Seoul taxi, the airport lists a 20% night surcharge from 22:00–23:00 and 02:00–04:00, and 40% from 23:00–02:00. Other taxi categories can follow different rules. These are surcharges, not a fixed airport-to-hotel price. Use a designated taxi stand, as the airport advises. Official taxi fares and pickup guide.
A five-minute plan before you fly
- Save your arrival terminal and the hotel’s Korean address.
- Choose a night-bus route by its stop, not just its final destination.
- Save the correct terminal timetable and one backup departure.
- Check the walk from the stop to the hotel.
- Tell your accommodation about a late arrival and confirm how to get in.
The cheapest ticket is only useful if the rest of the trip works. Aim to know both how you will reach Seoul and how you will finish the journey from the bus stop.
